I find it hard to believe it’s almost a month I last posted on this blog. Just where did the time go? We’re already in April and before you know it, we’ll be shopping for Christmas all over again. Fine, I know I’m very good at procastination and have been meaning to post for ages now, but the way the days just keep rolling into weeks just amaze me.
Yep! time is precious. We might not really understand it, but time is actually more precious than we take it to be. I remember that article about how minutes and seconds count. Like how a month might make a difference in the unborn baby, how a second might make the difference to the athlete and all that. If we are not careful, we’ll spend our time on things that don’t matter and we can never take it back.
I was very lucky to have spent my Easter holiday with my family. My first sister was visiting from Nigeria. My other sister here in the States came with her family, and then my brother also joined us in a mini-family reunion. It was the best Easter I’ve had in years. The kids had so much fun that my little munchkins needed almost 2 solid days to catch up on carried over sleep. I’m sure toddler munchkin must have been wondering what happened the day after everybody disappeared. It just made me feel so sad somehow. DH and I both come from large families, but because of living here, these kids will probably not understand how many relatives they have. It would just be ideal if we could always have family reunions like these where everybody will get together and know each other. By the grace of God, we’d get to take them home as often as we can.
Anyway, I think I’m back to blogsville. Will try and stop my procrastination (umm….think I’ve told myself that several times). Guess I’ll say, I’ll try and be better.

Lucky you! I wish I could spend the holidays with my family. Fortunately, my sister and her family will be visiting in a few months. yay!
my dear, it was the best time I’d had in years. Sure you’re looking forward to your sis’s arrival. Have fun, but get some sleep too!
Hey!!! Welcome back…Was wondering where you disappeared too… Glad you enjoyed your Easter holiday
Thanks, dear. Didn’t plan the disappearance though, but I sure had fun.
That made me feel so homesick. Boohoo, I miss my family and Naija. LOL. I agree that reunions are great for keeping in touch, thanks though to the tech of the day, FB, yahoo and mail.
eeeyyaaa! i know the feeling. Shey? we should be grateful for FB, internet, yahoo and the likes. You can imagine how it would’ve been without these.
